What to Send
Personal messages written in ink (or pen or marker or crayon or grape jelly) inside a book.
Pictures count. So do poems. So do notes on paper found in a book. The more heartfelt
the better. Send a copy of the cover and the inscription and any details about how, when
and where you found it. See this or this or this for examples.
——
What Not to Send
Books signed by the author.
One-liners like “Merry Christmas, Love Mom” (but we love good one-liners)
Notes that aren’t in a book or book-like item. Send those to Found.

How to Send
First scan (or take a digital picture of) the inscription and the cover or title page. You can do
it at Kinko’s or maybe the local library if you don’t have your own scanner or digital camera.
Then email the images plus any stories you may have about the book to
shaun@bookinscriptions.com. The higher the resolution, the better.
Or if you’re not sure how to get us the inscription, email us and we’ll figure out how to get
your inscription up.
Thanks everyone. With your help, the Project is gonna be amazing!
