Thank you to Cheryl of Stella Used Books, who says, “I found this recently, a small
pocket music dictionary from 1909 (though the inscription is dated 1962), buried in
a box of regular-sized paperbacks which I’d bought to resell. As a sometime pianist
myself, I thought it was pretty special. I hope that Janet did keep it at her piano and
get a lot of use out of it… it looks fairly well worn, so maybe she did!”
