there is so much of
you in anne lindbergh’s
writing–

the deep spirit
of — ‘woman’ — in all
it’s loveliness, mysticism
and splendour — the ache
of longing, of loneliness –
and all those many
unspoken thoughts –
above all –

the wond’rous
beauty of ‘femininity’ –
it is all you, Eve –
–>
we need no words -
to express our bond of friendship –
my feeble mode of
expression falls short
of what I would
will from my heart -
